Set up NetGen TV service on Roku

Use a compatible Roku player and add the subscription details from your login email.

Have your login email ready.

Look for “Your NetGen TV login details” or “Your NetGen TV trial is ready.” It contains your username, password, expiry and number of simultaneous streams. Check spam or junk if it has not arrived. Your service login is separate from your Shopify customer account.

Your player: IBO Player Pro. Follow the illustrated Roku instructions below.

  1. Add IBO Player Pro

Search the Roku Channel Store for IBO Player Pro and add it if it is available for your device and region. Open it and locate the device MAC and device key in its Account screen.

NetGen TV’s Android app cannot be installed directly on Roku.

IBO Player Pro with the Account option selected
Open Account to find the details for your player.
IBO Player Pro Account screen with example private details obscured
Use the device details shown on your own screen. Example details are obscured.
  2. Add the playlist

On a phone or computer, open the playlist-management website displayed by your installed player. For the IBO Pro app using iboproapp.com, choose Manage Playlists, enter its device MAC and key, then choose Add XC Playlist.

Enter these details from your email

    Profile / playlist name
    NetGen TV
    Username
    Your emailed service username
    Password
    Your emailed service password
Server / host / portal URL
The first server address in your login email, entered exactly as shown

Choose Xtream Codes API when your player offers a login method. Do not paste a server address into an M3U field. If your app only accepts M3U, reply to your login email for help.

IBO Pro Manage Playlists form with empty device MAC and key fields
Open the management website named in your installed player.

Save or submit the playlist. Keep your device key and service password private.

  3. Restart the Roku player

Close and reopen the player, then select your NetGen TV playlist. Allow the channels to load. If the player requests a license, that charge is separate from your NetGen TV subscription.
